This page was created to help the Ruiz family during this difficult time of loss. Carlos Ruiz, age 46 year, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Carlos was born on December 27, 1977 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to the late Carlos A. Ruiz and Noemi Ruiz-Velazquez. Beloved husband of Joann (nee Cruz). Devoted father of Carlos A. Ruiz Jr., Samari S. Ruiz, Cheyla S. Ruiz, Jo-Mari N. Ruiz, and Elianna M. Ruiz. Dear bother of Jose A. Ruiz (Isabel), and the late Sheila Ruiz. Cherished uncle of Elisabet A. Ruiz. Prior to retirement, Carlos worked as a firefighter with the Camden City Fire Department for over 12 years. He enjoyed camping, bonfires, grilling. and working on the car and house. Carlos was also a Pastor and very devoted to his faith. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games with his kids, especially Halo, and watching his girls play softball. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. Your support would be appreciated for funeral expenses as this loss was unexpected.
