Love for Niya supports Janiya and Raiqwon as they celebrate the life of their beautiful daughter. Let’s rally around them and show them how loved they are! Right now we want to make sure they are well fed, and we will update this page as their needs change. Thank you for your support.
Hi friends and family, Janiya and Raiqwon are preparing to welcome their baby girl, and we’re organizing a postpartum meal train to help nourish them during this special time. If you’d like to contribute a healthy meal, a lactation-friendly treat, or even a gift card for food delivery, we’d love your support! The meal train includes all the important details about food preferences, allergies, and delivery instructions. Thank you so much for showing up for this growing family! 💛 Who we’re feeding: Janiya and Raiqwon as they adjust to life with a newborn. Drop-off Instructions: Please text before coming by. They’re focusing on rest and recovery, so feel free to leave meals on the porch in a cooler or reusable bag. Meal Preferences: • Focus on healthy, nourishing meals—think warming soups, veggie bowls, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats • No shellfish, please • Pinterest-style postpartum meals are very welcome (easy-to-reheat, hearty, and comforting) Lactation-Friendly Treats: Sweet treats that help support milk supply are especially appreciated—like oatmeal cookies, energy bites, or anything with flaxseed, oats, or brewer’s yeast. Other Ideas: • Smoothies or smoothie packs • Warm grain bowls (quinoa, brown rice, farro) • Soups and stews (lentil, chicken bone broth-based, etc.) • Freezer-friendly casseroles or slow cooker meals • Hydrating snacks like fruit, electrolyte drinks, fresh squeezed juices ( ex celery, apple, ginger juice) Family Size: Meals for 2 adults Thank you so much for caring for this family through food. Your support means the world! 🫶
