Hello, my family is facing a very sad and trying time. My beautiful, smart and compassionate Mother, my best friend, the best grandma in the whole wide world to my children, the most loving and supportive wife to my amazing Dad, has been sent home from the hospital on hospice home care, she has a terrible infection from a wound on her leg into her bone, antibiotics would not rid of this infection. The doctors originally thought to amputate the the leg, but after further testing the found that toes on the other leg were gangrene. The doctors feel that due to her age and current health issues it was best to send her home under hospice care and keep her comfortable. My dad is never one to ask for help- but this is going to be such a trying time for my mom and dad. My dad is going to be her main sole care giver. I would like to take a little off his plate. Thank you to anyone who is able to lighten the load for the next weeks, or months, as the time is unknown. 💕
