Supporting the Kehres Family

Lyndhurst, OH

Story

As most of you have heard Bob is headed back into surgery on October 24th to have what we expect will be an excision of the primary site of the cancer, as well as his tonsil and lymph nodes removed. He will recover for a few days in the hospital before coming home. At this time, the biggest assistance would be help with dinners. Maria's focus will be on helping Bob recover and keeping their hectic lives moving forward. At this time, we have listed the days immediately post-surgery as ones where help would be most appreciated and will be adding more once the next phase of treatment is determined. We will also do our best to use this site to provide updates on how Bob is doing and if there is anything else that could be helpful from all their generous friends and family. Thank you all in advance for being so incredibly supportive and loving.

Special Notes

There are no allergies to be mindful of when considering meals, but Maria does not love olives :) There will be a blue cooler at the bottom of the steps by the front door that you are welcome to leave meals in at your convenience on the day you have volunteered to help! Updated: please stay away from foods that are spicy or acidic like tomato sauce. Also, chewing is taxing on his jaw so we are staying away from hard to chew red meat.
