Lonnie Heiser Sr. was admitted to the hospital on the 27th of December with swelling in his legs and abdomen. He was later diagnosed with end stage cirrhosis of the liver and is suffering with complications from that. The hard decision was made to go home on hospice care. This decision was especially difficult with his wife Emmy having recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. They are both currently being supported by their children and their families. To relieve some of the hardships, we set this account up for all the kind hearted people who have reached out to the family, asking how they can help.
