Carrie was recently diagnosed with acute bronchitis COPD and has been seeing the doctor about this issue. She was having some struggles with breathing the week before this incident. On Mon Dec 4th Carrie woke up struggling to breath so Al called 911. Carrie was taken to Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater where she was admitted into the ICU. She was put on a ventilator and sedated for a week. During that time they did a Covid-19 test on Carrie and she tested positive on top of that they found a bacteria in Carrie's lungs. Thankfully they were able to treat her. Carrie was able to be woken up and able to breath on her own after a week. After 9 days in the ICU she is being discharged and it will be the beginning of an uphill journey for Care Bear. With her being off work for an unknown amount of time and all the medical expenses that are to come they could definitely use some help. Care Bear is the strongest women I know and as we all know she will be fighting to get back on her feet and back to a new norm as soon as possible. Thank you everyone for all your support and love!
