Meal Train for Emilie & Kristo

Carpinteria, CA

Story

Dear friends, Torren Magnus Torgersen arrived 10 days early on June 21! He is 7 lbs 13 oz and in great health. We are recovering at the hospital until weds night but we would love your help with meals for the next few weeks after we get home. Emilie's mother will be helping us from July 15-21 but other than that we are on our own. Another way to help us would be to take Honey for some walks. Honey is very lazy and out of shape and a 20 minute walk around the neighborhood would be fine!

Special Notes

Update on food preferences … It’s been 10 days and I am recovering a lot faster than I expected! It was helpful to eat mostly soup and mushy things for the past ten days but I am feeling ready to start getting back to a more normal diet. The only food restrictions I have at the time are no dairy, no hot spicy foods, and no raw onions or garlic. Thanks! If you have any questions please feel free to call or text. We are going to see how it goes and take it one day at a time. My # is 303-827-5854 and Kristo's is 805-850-8806 If you want a quick and easy option, soups from the Organic Soup Kitchen in Santa Barbara would be great. Pickup times are Mon-Tues-Weds  9AM - noon at 608 Anacapa St, Ste C, Santa Barbara. Delivery can be arranged by calling (805) 364-2790. More info and online ordering is on their website: organicsoupkitchen.org.
