On Friday, May 22, 2020, weighing in at 4.5lbs, 16.5” long, and almost 2 months early we welcomed our little Brownson James Robinson to the world. He is the sweetest little fella and we cannot get enough of him. Since he’s so little, he will be spending the first month of his life in the NICU under the skillful and watchful eye of Alicia Lesak! I can’t explain how much better it feels having a friend watching over him when I can’t be there. Covid19 has forced the hospital to temporarily change their policies. Mark cannot leave the hospital or he will not be allowed to come back. Once I am dismissed as a patient we will be allowed to come up twice a day to visit our little man for 1 hour at a time. We both have to wear face masks anytime someone comes into our room, if we’re in the hall, in the NICU, and also during the delivery. Danielle Burns was able to accompany Mark and I during the c-section and she made all the difference in the world. She kept Mark and I calm and explained everything to us as it was happening. If it wasn’t for her I know our delivery experience would have been a totally different ballgame and i will never be able to thank her enough for what she did for us! It has been a long but exciting week for our little family! Please keep us and especially little Brownson James in your thought and prayers!
