Supporting the Siciliano-Riffenburg Household during Breast Cancer Treatment

Chicago, IL

Story

This is a support page for Lisa Siciliano and her husband Chuck as they go through their journey with breast cancer. Lisa, 40 (can you believe it?!), was diagnosed with breast cancer on March 25th (while she was 38). She is currently a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Chicago at the Learning Sciences Research Institute. Treatment for Lisa's cancer (ER+, PR+, HER+) has included surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy (Herceptin), radiation, and endocrine/hormone therapy (Letrozole and Zoladex). It soon will include a daily medication as an additional prevention of recurrence called Nerlynx. Whew. We hope this page gives you a way to get updates and provides many ways you can help. This is going to be a long journey, so we hope you are willing to join us and support us for the ride.

Special Notes
