Ashley & Kids #AjKicksCancer

Marion, VA

Story

Ashley will be having surgery tomorrow February 16t, 23. We are starting this Go Fund page & the Give In Kind Pages so that anyone who can and would like to help will have several options. Link to GO Fund: https://gofund.me/bf5767ed Unfortunately, she will not have any income from work for several weeks and she does not have any type of medical leave with her current job situation. We are attaching the schedule of needs inside the "Give In Kind" page where you can sign up to help with bringing meals etc. A huge thank you for your love, your giving, your support and most of all your prayers. . #AJKicksCancer Read her Social Post here if you missed it. Well as you all know my life is never boring. Never a dull moment. I’m truly sick of all the crazy honestly but looks like 2023 is going to start off with a bang. January 26th I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, BREAST CANCER! The “C” word… Never did I ever think this would be me. I just turned 34, I have two young kids! I was starting my “Chapter 2” in life as the young widows page calls it. But the Lord knows I am strong and is testing me again for some reason, only he knows exactly. I have started my journey through all this with so much love and support from family, friends, co-workers… I am just truly blessed. My little ones have been through so much this past year, I have told them the gist of everything just to keep them aware I have a long journey ahead. I have just kept the “C” word out of it all! Please everyone be sensitive around them with that, and respect my wishes! I do have so many family members and friends from afar to can keep updated so with that said I will keep everyone posted in away that isn’t to much into detail. I appreciate all of the prayers and ask for that to continue! I don’t always understand “why me” “why my kids have to go through more” but I do BELIEVE in him and trust God has a plan for me. I will push through this and explain to my kids, life is hard but you can get through anything and everything with God, and amazing family/friend support! #ajkickscancer #cancersucks #igotthis #fcancer #pray #breastcancerawareness #cancerpickedthewrongb%tch

Special Notes

Ashley will most likely be on a soft diet with soups, ice cream, easy mild bland foods for the first week or so. We will update this as we go for what she can tolerate. Ashely only DIET: Following a Mediterranean Diet, No Soy, No red meat, No Carb to Low Carb. No Allergies. The kids are the bit more picky ones, they love the normal kids foods.. they love Tacos, Spaghetti, Chicken, Steak, Cheese Quesadillas, Chicken nuggets, Cereal, pizza, snacks. etc. Groceries, frozen & uncooked foods are fine to be dropped off, as the family will be there around the clock to help cook meals and provide care for her and the kids. The kids favorite cereal is Coco Pebbles & they love fruit. Chocolate mini muffins, Chocolate donuts. Of course they are at school through the week days and these items would be great for the weekends. Ashley wants everyone to know she would rather everyone focus on the kids foods more than her as the family will all be rotating in and out to help cook, clean, care etc. If you have questions please feel free to Text Aunt Oanya at 276-780-1319.
