Story
Heidi tripped and fell several months ago and thought she had pulled a stomach muscle. At the time she was under a huge amount of stress and believed these were all contributing factors to feel so poorly. She then went to UCI because of excruciating abdominal pain. It took a second visit via ambulance back too UCI where they drained several liters of fluid from her stomach. She is now at St. Josephs in Orange and hopefully will be getting chemo as the picc-line was put in yesterday. The medical community runs on their own timeline slowly. With this very scary diagnosis of pancreatic cancer Heidi's main concern is for James, Judy her mom and her sister Stacey. James has been through so much as both parents now have a cancer diagnosis. He just competed in Junior Olympics at Stanford University, thanks to Judy. Thursday James placed first in his Junior Lifeguard division in the Monster Mile in 60 degree ocean water, then the next day competed in California State Lifeguard Regional Competition! He is a super star and it has made Heidi so happy and proud of his hard earned achievements. At this point in time this is becoming a huge financial burden as most catastrophic health crisis' do. Please donate whatever you can. Heidi is amazing and wants to fight this cancer. She is loved by so many James, Judy, Stacey, her family, friends, coworkers and ALL her students past and present. There is no need for meals at this point James also has a peanut allergy, Door Dash gift cards et al. is better so they can decide. Prayer is a priority as we believe in the great Physician our Lord and Savior and we believe miracles. Heidi has a strong quiet faith and appreciates all of your prayers! One of her students mom sent me this scripture...May the God of HOPE fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit.
