Helping Baby Charley Grow

Omaha, NE

Story

Rodney and I, along with our kiddos, are anxiously awaiting the arrival of sweet baby girl, Charley Jo, due July 24, 2021. In early March, at a routine Perinatal appointment, I was found to have a short cervix, which in turn, resulted in a cervical cerclage being placed. This stitch is meant to keep the cervix closed, as to prevent preterm delivery. After another follow-up appointment today, March 22nd, I was admitted to the hospital due to extreme shortening of the cervix, bulging bag of waters, and cramping. Although unsure of when I will be released (hoping in the next 2 days), I will be on bed rest at home, in order to keep baby growing as long as possible. The viability of baby is improved each day, and I have decided to ask for help once I am sent home, so that I can continue to rest and not send myself into preterm labor. Anyone that knows me, is aware that I do not like to ask for help, but this is so important. If anyone would like to sign up for a shift to come relax with me at home, and help with Miss Ruby during these times, it would be so much appreciated. It would be such a blessing to be able to get Baby Charley to a safe gestational age, where she is able to survive outside the womb, with no potential risks. I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. Please feel free to message Rodney or I, or text us as well.
