We ask for prayers and support for Fernando Rodriguez, his wife Michelle, and their children, Elijah and Natahlia. Fernando has always shown kindness to those in need by offering a warm place to stay, a meal, comforting words, or a prayer. Now, the tables have turned, and he needs our help. Several weeks ago, Fernando began feeling unwell, and his condition worsened to the point where he was not able to work. We have since learned that he is battling a rare lung infection called Blastomycosis, which has led to sepsis, a life-threatening blood infection. Fernando's oxygen levels have dropped dangerously low, and he has been intubated and put on a ventilator along with a feeding tube. His lung infection remains severe. As the sole provider for his family, this has been a challenging time for them. We are asking for your prayers and positive thoughts for Fernando’s recovery. The doctors have said he has a long and uncertain road ahead, but we are holding onto hope. Even after leaving the hospital, Fernando will likely need to enter a rehabilitation facility to recover fully.
