Story
Ashton was diagnosed with Stage 3c colon cancer in July 2024. Over the past nine months, she has bravely completed eight rounds of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiation, along with oral chemo. Now, she is entering the final stage of her treatment: surgery. On Friday, May 2, Ashton will undergo a major operation to remove the affected portion of her colon and nearby organs. Her recovery is expected to take up to six weeks, with the most critical period falling in the first few. We're organizing meals and childcare support to help Ashton and her family fully focus on rest and healing. There’s no pressure to cook; store-bought meals, gift cards, or even a DoorDash delivery are just as appreciated. Thank you for surrounding their family with love, prayer, and care. It means more than they can express.
Special Notes
Thank you so much for supporting the Scriven family during this time so Ashton can focus on rest and recovery! They’re a family of four—two adults and two little ones (ages 3 and 1). The only food allergy is shrimp. They’re also working toward a healthier lifestyle and would appreciate meals with minimal bread, pasta, or processed carbs. Potatoes and rice are absolutely fine!
