Ashton was diagnosed with Stage 3c colon cancer in July 2024. Over the past nine months, she has bravely completed eight rounds of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiation, along with oral chemo. Now, she is entering the final stage of her treatment: surgery. On Friday, May 2, Ashton will undergo a major operation to remove the affected portion of her colon and nearby organs. Her recovery is expected to take up to six weeks, with the most critical period falling in the first few.
