The Brown family home caught fire on March 11. Thankfully the fire was an exterior fire, firefighters responded quickly and the house has been declared structurally sound! Aside from the loss of a garden shed and tools, most of the families belongings were saved. However, even a minor fire causes great disruption. The home needs repairs, clothing and personal items need to be cleaned due to smoke. The family will not be able to stay in the home while repairs are being made. Insurance is working hard to make sure things are put to rights, they have put the Brown family up in a rental while the house is under repair and will be reimbursing them for expenses resulting from the fire. Georgina is always quick to help out friends and strangers in their time of need. I know her circle of friends and family are all wanting to know how they can help now that Georgina is on the other side of the equation. Gift cards would be the easiest way to help out. Diet Coke and chocolate are two of Georgina's favorite things and always make her feel better.
