“On Monday night during the 7 o’clock hour, tragedy struck at the skate park on 40th in Yakima. Raul, a father, was senselessly shot while trying to break up a fight—because children, including his own three sons, were present. He stepped in to protect others, and in doing so, paid the ultimate price. Emergency responders arrived quickly and performed CPR for an extended period, but heartbreakingly, their efforts were unsuccessful.” Raul leaves behind three young sons and step-children whom he loved.
