—MEAL SIGN UP: Click below on the blue “From Calendar” tab. Due to COVID, meals are drop-off only, no serving by volunteers.  We welcome anything nutritious like soups, salads, casseroles, chili, sandwiches, pasta, vegetables, etc.   —WISH LIST TAB: Gift cards are also helpful. —MAKE A DESIGNATED DONATION: wemhp.org/give   The Winter Shelter operates yearly, December 1 - April 1 and is open to women, without dependents, ages 18 years of age and older. It offers 20 emergency shelter beds, assistance and hope. The goal of the Women's Winter Shelter is to offer a safe, warm, loving and helpful place to sleep and receive nutrition and encouragement to transition into a new life. Toiletries, clothing and other helpful items are provided as well as case management and counseling. 


Special Notes

NOTE: Due to COVID precautions, we cannot utilize volunteers this year BUT there are many other ways you can help - prepare meals (see calendar link - only drop off meals, no volunteer serving inside this year), donate items (gift cards, see needs list) and, please pray.  --MEAL SIGN UP See the blue "From Calendar" tab for dates needing meals. While we would love for you to interact with the women, due to COVID, we cannot allow volunteers within the shelter.  --PROVIDE TOILETRIES OTHER NEEDS -- You may deliver these items to West End or have them shipped directly. Many of the items listed below are on-going:  Ladies cotton underwear (new - sizes 4, 8, 10, 12, 14) Ladies socks (all sizes)
