McQuade family

Bridgewater, MA

Story

41 year old Richie McQuade was diagnosed with cancer in late 2020. No stranger to hard times, And with the strength and love of his wife and children Richie began his battle in November.  Juggling homeschooling 6 year old Juju and 5 year old Thomas, caring for 1 year old Jameson and working from home,  Lindsey added taking care of her husband after chemo treatments to her long “to do” list.  Last week after surgery to remove her gallbladder, Lindsey herself was also diagnosed with cancer (Hodgkin’s lymphoma).  That’s right! 3 kids under 7, and 2 parents fighting cancer. The laundry list of items / services this family needs just doubled.  Richie and Lindsey will be alternating chemo weeks. When the care giver becomes the patient, and the patient becomes the main caregiver, it’s time to ask for help . Please do whatever you can, donate monetarily, make a meal, provide a ride, run errands, help with school work for the kids, go food shopping, do a load or two of laundry, there are jobs for everyone !   Every little bit helps and is most appreciated.   My name is Lisa and I’m Richie’s cousin, along with Richie’s Neice Heather and Sister Gina, we are organizing these efforts for the McQuade’s. Any questions or concerns can be directed to either myself at [email protected] Or Heather Dimita at  [email protected]
