Story
Dear Friends and Community, It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Tatyanna “Taty” Pomales, age 23, on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Tatyanna was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. Born in Edison and raised in North Brunswick before settling in Franklin Park, she graduated from the Center of Life Long Learning in Parlin, NJ. Despite living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, Taty was known for her radiant smile, affectionate spirit, and kind nature. She brought joy to those around her with her love for her iPad and musical toys. Taty’s passing is a profound loss for her family, especially her mother, Stephanie, her sister Mackenzie and her brother Dominic. As they navigate this incredibly difficult time, we’d like to surround them with love and support. We are organizing a Meal Train to help ease some of the day-to-day burdens in the coming weeks. Providing meals is a simple yet meaningful way we can show the James family they are not alone, and that their community stands with them in grief and in love. This effort, Love for Taty, is one small way we can honor her memory and support those she leaves behind. If you’re able to contribute a meal, groceries, support it would mean so much. Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and for helping us support this beautiful family during such a heartbreaking time.
