From Liz and Matt: As Matt and I have prepared to become parents, we've been blown away by the love and support pouring in from all of you. We can't thank you enough for the kind words and the offers to help. You have no idea how much it means to us. If you feel like whipping up something tasty, or even just ordering in from your favorite spot, we'd be forever grateful. We'll also use this space for other needs as they pop up. Here are some of the ways you could help: * Cook or bring us something you love for breakfast, lunch, or dinner * Order us takeout. Local favs include Little Wall, Masa, Florence Family Pizza, Thai Garden, and India House. * Help us order/pick up groceries Here are some of our dietary preferences if you are thinking of making something for us. Matt: Loves: BBQ, brunch, chicken pot pie, chili, enchiladas, soup, peanut buttery things, and meat of all sorts (although he also enjoys vegetarian meals too!), and cookies. Will eat just about anything. Does not love: mustard, beets, olives/capers/pickles, cilantro- tastes like soap to him, and vinegar- although he can handle balsamic and salad dressings. Liz: Loves: Almost everything! Seriously. Loves vegetarian dishes featuring tofu/beans and also meat-forward things with chicken/red meat. Enjoys pasta, stir-fries, Indian cuisine, dumplings, Thai food, Mexican food (tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc.), fruit, salads, grain bowls, veggies, snacks, cheese, bread, pastry, and dessert. Does not love: Eh, not much. Maybe cheesecake? We're so lucky to have you all in our corner and our baby is so lucky to be joining this amazing community.
