After suffering from a chronic cough, chest pain and shortness of breath for a year, Kelsey was diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma on November 1, 2022. She has a 14x8x8 mass in her chest (about the size of a large Gatorade bottle) that is growing aggressively and putting pressure on her heart and lungs- causing a heart murmur and severely decreased lung capacity in her left lung. Kelsey will be undergoing 6 rounds of R-EPOCH chemo therapy at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lymphoma Program. Each round is 3 weeks long and consists of 5 days of inpatient chemo, followed by 2 weeks of “recovery.”
