Story
Jim passed away peacefully in his sleep on Feb 17 in the comfort of his own bed. He was diagnosed with Stage IV esophageal cancer in March of 2022. The doctors told his family that he fought it beautifully and never had they seen someone be able to endure the amount of chemo that he had. Jim & his family endured the last 10 days in the hospital in attempts to get him well enough to return home. They never imagined that returning home would have meant the end of journey. They hoped for a few more months with him for the chemo to leave his system so he could be well enough to take one last trip, but his body was tired. While it feels unfair, they are truly blessed to have had him pass at home in his sleep. Thank you to all who helped them over the last two years with his care and thank you to all friends and family for supporting our family during this time.
