Audrey Ranee (Bailey) Woodard, 33, is a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and most importantly a devoted mommy to two beautiful, neurodivergent children (Lorelei - 6 and Grafton - 3, who is non-verbal autistic and his mom knows his every need and all of his little routines) who has begun enduring the fight of her life. After visits to the emergency room on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve for what the doctors said was pneumonia, she was determined for real answers during her third ER visit on January 15th. After a week-long ICU stay full of tests, MRI’s, CT’s, 3 thoracentesis procedures, and a lung biopsy, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Adenosquamous Carcinoma (ASC) of the lung, which is one of the most rare types of lung cancer. January 31, 2024 Update Audrey was readmitted to the hospital for the fourth time on Saturday, January 27th. She was very close to being septic at that time and is currently fighting pneumonia. Due to the pneumonia, she has not been able to get a port in. She is fighting and is she fighting hard! Please keep praying for strength and healing. Assistance with providing meals, food items, or gift cards for meals would be very helpful in the coming weeks and months as Audrey begins the fight of her life. If preparing a meal, please plan on providing a meal for three adults. Foods to consider: Fresh or Frozen Fruit (pre-cut) Cesar Salad Baked Spaghetti Lasagna Lorelei and Grafton only eat certain foods and brands.
