Stay tuned! _________________________________________________________________________________ If you are reading this page, Shannon has touched your life in some positive way, and she welcomes your prayers for her healing. Shannon will undergo a double mastectomy on March 4, 2021, for breast cancer removal. She received the call from her doctor on December 23, 2020 that her biopsy came back as cancerous. She received a preliminary diagnosis as stage one on December 28, 2020 but her doctors believe it is 100% treatable. Shannon has full faith that they are correct. (Later her diagnosis was upgraded to Stage two after she received her pathology report post surgery.) The recovery can be up to six weeks or longer depending on when her reconstructive surgery is scheduled and if further treatment is required. Cards may be sent to her at her home. Shannon appreciates your love and support and during this time, Shannon would like to focus on her recovery and requests that her Victory Team be the point of contact for her journey. Shannon is very humbled as this is one of the hardest journeys she has to endure, but she is looking forward to what God has in store on the other side of her healing. The Bible verses giving her strength are Joshua 1:9 and Philippians 4:6-7.
