We have created this page to rally around our dear friends Katherine Ross and Art Krug, to show them how loved they are. In mid-March, Katherine was diagnosed with a fast moving Bulbar ALS, you may know it by the name, Lou Gehrig's disease. This diagnosis has greatly altered Katherine's ability to move in the world and she is no longer able to do a lot of what we all take for granted each day. Doing such simple tasks as walking can exert so much energy that she needs to stop and rest, her speech is ever changing and her ability to do the simple task of preparing food is no longer possible. The simple task of eating, has become a challenge. Choking has become a real threat and something to stay on top of. Katherine has new machines to help deal with tthese issues. Katherine and Art have a wonderulf community of friends and family who have gathered around them with an incredible amount of support and love, they are forever grateful. Having visitors right now is Katherine's life line to the world. She absolutely loves having folks drop by to visit, so please keep it up. Right now we most want to make sure they are well fed without worrying where there next meal is coming from. Art has become a full time caregiver and if we can relieve some of his burden as he takes on this new role, that would be wonderful. We have created this page to put a request out into the world for help making meals to nourish both of them.
