Support for Alisa during her cancer treatment

Delavan, WI

Story

“Hello, I’m a 45-year-old mom of 6 daughters and 3 granddaughters. I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer on March 17th. I will soon be unable to work. With that being said, my rent, bills, and other expenses won’t stop. I will still need to find a way for them to be paid. I definitely have plenty to worry about, so anything will help so I don’t over-stress and make myself worse off. Please , from the bottom of my heart, try to help me and my family in this time of need. It truly is appreciated and a blessing to everyone. I will also have fundraising events if that’s more comfortable for y'all. Thank you to everybody who is able to give. Ps….. Anything after paying my bills will go to breast cancer awareness please support cause this effect so many moms , sisters , daughters . Please do your check ups.” Alisa To help Alisa and her family with daily living expenses while Alisa is out of work healing from her surgery and doing chemotherapy, please consider donating to the gofund me. https://gofund.me/e73ea28b

Special Notes

Meal and Care Guidelines As part of preparing for chemotherapy and recovery from surgery, the doctors have recommended a focus on nutrition: • Increase iron, protein, and fiber intake. • Keep meals low in sugar and low in salt. • Emphasize lots of fruits and vegetables. • Stay hydrated with plenty of liquids (but no sodas and no caffeine). This will help build strength before the next surgery in June and support healing during chemo. Thank you so much for your kindness and support during this time — it means more than words can say!
