Story
My dad Daryl is a good friend to many. He is 64 years old. He’s been fighting pancreatic cancer since Jan 2024. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs throughout. He has undergone 12 things of chemotherapy and 5 radiation treatments. His cancer is on a main artery and the pancreas. He will be undergoing the whipple procedure January 2. This procedure is a very high risk surgery and the survival rate after the surgery is 40%. I’m asking for any help with meals and people just sitting and talking to him. I live out of state and can only be here so much. My dad is a grandpa to my daughter Madelyn who is 7 years old. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Please keep him in your prayers as this is just to prolong his lifetime. Pancreatic cancer doesn’t have a cure.
Special Notes
I will be posting any dietary recommendations once he gets out of surgery on Jan 2. He is diabetic so please keep that in mind.
