Heidi was admitted into Promedica Hospital in Toledo at 30 weeks pregnant, on June 21st with preeclampsia with severe features. The doctors were hoping to not bring little Miss. "Liney Jo" into this world until Heidi was 34 weeks pregnant. On Monday June 24th, things changed and Heidi was taken in for an emergency C-section. At 12:51p.m. Sweet little Miss. Caroline Jo Anne "Liney Jo" Doench was brought into this world at 2 pounds 13 ounces & 14 3/4 inches long. "Liney Jo" had to spend 5 weeks in the NICU at the Promedica Children's Hospital in Toledo. During this time, Heidi & Jeremy spent every single day & night with their baby girl, only coming home once every week or so for 12 hours to do laundry and attempt to rest in their bed. (Which is hard to do, knowing your baby is in the NICU) Miss. Liney Jo was discharged from the Promedica Children's Hospital on Saturday July 27th. With being discharged to home comes alot of extras, than with a "full term" baby. She requires extra time & care. Multiple temperature times, temperature regulations, mixing of nutrients into her breast milk, etc. She is a healthy baby & we are beyond blessed by the good Lord!
