Our friend David Proffitt is having a hip replacement surgery on Tuesday, April 16th. Several have already asked David what they can do to help and if they can bring a meal. Thank you for supporting David during this time! Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 at Sentara Leigh Hospital. He will spend one night in the hospital - so meals will be needed starting on Wednesday, April 17. He will likely need help with meals for two weeks or so. David will have a friend staying as a caretaker for the first week. However, meals are definitely needed! Please bring a meal for two so his friend can eat too. You might consider joining David for a meal the second week, but please coordinate with David first, as initially, he may not be able to fully participate in meal time with you.
