If you can, please consider signing up and bringing them a meal!❤️    “Oliver update: Blood cultures have indicated that he has a bacterial infection in his blood. We’re still waiting to find out exactly what strain it is so we can better treat the infection. Because of the bacteria in his blood, yesterday afternoon he had to have a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) to retrieve some cerebrospinal fluid in order to see if the infection was in his brain. The good news is that there is currently no bacteria in his brain. The bad news is that there WAS in the past couple of days (it has just been treated with the antibiotics that he was put on Thursday early morning). Since he had an infection in his brain and being that there is an active bacterial infection in his blood, we will be here for the next two weeks.”
