On April 17th, my brother in law Mike Sowell was in a car wreck which caused him to need surgery, and has now left him bed-bound for the next few months. Mike was the one who primarily took care of meals, along with many other things that his wife (my sister) Ashley has now had to pick up on top of her already full plate. Ashley is an elementary school teacher and a mom of 2 teens, which on its own keeps her busy, but now she is juggling doctors appointments and transportation, physical therapy, medical and hygiene care for her husband, as well as taking care of all of the household chores and meals. And she does it all so selflessly and would never ask for help, which is why I want to do what I can to help out from a distance! Dropping off meals locally, or donating gift cards for meals would be one less thing she has to worry about, that is as easy as a click of a button for us! I’m sure the Sowell family would greatly appreciate any support and love sent their way, thank you for helping me make that happen!
