Support for Cole McKeown and family

Fort Worth, TX

Story

Cole had orthagnathic surgery Wednesday, December 11. This was a scheduled and planned surgery to correct improper bite alignment that gave Cole jaw pain and issues eating. His upper jaw was expanded, lower jaw was brought forward, and wisdom teeth were removed. The surgery lasted 7 hours and Cole stayed in the hospital 2 nights, returning home Friday, 12/13. His jaw is wired shut for 3 weeks. He is on a liquid diet for 6 weeks and then a soft food diet for 6 months. The biggest help the McKeown's need now is helping with Case and Jameson and taking some of the load off Corey while she cares for Cole round the clock. We will need some help watching the kids for follow up appointments but also some shorter play dates so the kids can get some quality attention and play while Corey helps Cole. Any meals we request are to feed Corey and the kids, not Cole due to his special diet.

Special Notes

We have no allergy or diet restrictions, other than the picky whims of a 5 and 2.5 year old.
