If you've dined at The Baker's Table over the past two years, chances are you've spoken to, been greeted by, befriended, or have had some type of interaction with Don, our front of house manager. Don has spent his career in hospitality and joined our team two years ago when he and his family relocated from the Lake Mary area. We consider Don to be "the salt of the earth", putting God and his family first and always looking out for others. Don has become an integral part of our team and we consider him part of our family. Don's recently had a mobility issue and his doctors ordered an MRI. The MRI revealed a large tumor in his brain that needs to be removed. As of now his doctors believe the tumor is benign. Don will go on leave mid October and will likely be out for 10-12 weeks. Between medical expenses, copays, deductibles and partial loss of income this will be a financial burden for Don and his family when recovery needs to be the focus. Please keep Don, his wife and two children in your prayers. We are grateful for anything you can do to help their family during this stressful time.
