Becky helps everyone that she can with everything that she can all the time. Now, it's our turn to help her out, if we can. She's having major surgery on Monday, October 21st at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Michael will stay with her down there until she's released to come home, which should be about three days post-op. During those days that they are in Roanoke, William will be home to take care of the dogs. They've prepped up and frozen meals, but are open to receiving some healthy, home-cooked meals during the recovery period. Once she's up for it, they think visitors would be the most helpful thing to get her through the long at-home recovery, which is expected to be 4 to 6 weeks long. A bit of help with store runs or little household tasks might also be appreciated, as would receipt of cards/flowers/etc.
