Joyce has been a very valuable dear friend and co worker to all of us. She will not hesitate to come to your aid if you needed it even without asking. Her bubbly and funny antics always stands out at work and outside. She is strong and independent nurtured over time for being the eldest in the family and being a CT nurse which is typical among us. Soften up by her darling personality. But even the strongest and sweetest person are not spared of numerous challenges thrown their way. She is scheduled to have her knee surgery ( ski injury) on Monday and just before that she and her husband were in a vehicular accident causing more injury on her body and burden to them physically, mentally, and financially . Her husband has also just started his new job. Knowing Michael he would rather be with Joyce to tend to her and their fur babies, but just being new from his employment he doesn’t have enough VL . Joyce regardless being independent and strong it will be quite challenging to tackle healing or recovering from a vehicular accident , dealing with mundane stuff such as preparing meals, tending to their pets or even getting a ride or travelling around since their car is damaged. They have no family here in Wa. We are her family and community. As family and community regardless how small the unit is, lets come together and extend a hand to our family especially someone who is so endearing to us. Any help will do such as helping with meals, ride in her appointments, errands, care for their pets, or even prayers and warm wishes will be appreciated. Joyce just wants to add and make sure everyone is aware. She said she greatly appreciate this post and gestures and that make sure y’all know she is not dying 😂
