Story
Friends, family, and compassionate neighbors — we're reaching out on behalf of the McClain Family, who are facing a tough road ahead and could really use our help. Markus recently suffered a severe injury, tearing ligaments in his ankle that will require immediate surgery. As a result, he’ll be unable to work for at least six months while he recovers. While he will be receiving a portion of his pay during this time, it won’t be enough to fully support the family’s daily needs. Markus and his wife Leahanna are devoted parents to three small, sweet children who fill their home with laughter and love. But as you can imagine, this unexpected injury and the long recovery period has created a lot of uncertainty and stress — especially when it comes to keeping food on the table. We want the McClains to know they’re not alone. It truly takes a village, and this is our chance to be that village for them — to wrap them in love, care, and practical support. We’re organizing donations to provide meals and groceries during this difficult time so they can focus on healing and family without the added burden of wondering how to make ends meet. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. Whether it’s a warm meal, a grocery run, or just a reminder that they’re not walking this road alone — it matters. Let’s come together to show the McClains that community means something real. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
