Nancy was hit by a driver running a red light on Monday, March 18. Nancy was walking her dog, Jackson. Jackson gave his life and probably saved Nancy from more severe injury or death. Nancy has a fractured tibial plateau of her left leg. Right now it is extremely swollen, so the surgery that will be necessary can’t be scheduled for probably 2 weeks. She cannot put weight on her left leg. Her recovery after surgery will be lengthy, no weight on the leg for at least 6 weeks and another 6 weeks of therapy.
