On February 2nd, 2024 The Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division in Cuyahoga County granted Kelitha emergency custody of her 3 grandchildren due to abuse (emotional, physical, and spiritual), neglect, suspected drug abuse, and domestic violence transpiring within the children's home. This filing was not opposed by the children's biological mother as such custody was granted. Currently the abuser does face domestic violence and assault charges against the children with more charges likely to be filed. Kelitha has helped so many people find their paths towards happy, healthy, and whole lifestyles time and time again. She has dedicated her life to helping those who are in need. Her heart and kindness are unparalleled. She rises up whenever she is called into action, and now, she is calling on all of her family and friends to help her and these children during one of the most challenging times of their lives. Due to how quickly this happened, Kelitha needs your help. Her grandchildren are ages 7, 12, and 13. They deserve to have all of the good things in life. They deserve to no longer feel afraid and ashamed. They deserve stability in a loving, caring, environment that will help them flourish and heal from the traumas they have endured.
