Support St. Joseph Health Healthcare Workers Bryan and College Station, TX

Bryan, TX

Story

Our community, along with the rest of the world, is once again experiencing an unprecedented wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. St. Joseph Health healthcare workers are on the front lines, taking care of those individuals significantly affected with this virus. During previous waves, our health system was greatly impacted by the generosity of our community in numerous ways, but specifically through the donation of meals. As our doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other support staff put in exceptionally long hours in extremely stressful situations day in and day out, the gift of meals makes a difference. We have heard countless times that the meals donated by the community not only made a hard day at work much easier, but they boosted morale when our team members needed it most. If you or your organization feel called to support St. Joseph Health right now, and would like to do so through donating meals, we have created the sign-up below to make the process as easy and efficient as possible. We are hoping to fill two daily slots (noon and midnight) of 65 meals each. These meals will be provided for staff at Regional Hospital and College Station Hospital. Donations of individually packaged home-cooked meals or restaurant take-out, with utensils and plates, are all welcomed and appreciated. In addition, donations of healthy energy drinks, sodas, individually wrapped snacks such as nuts, granola bars, chips, beef jerky, etc. are appreciated as our very busy staff can easily and quickly grab one of these items on a short break. At this time, we are asking that Grubhub, DoorDash and other food delivery gift cards not be donated. To deliver a donation at Regional Hospital, please use the circle drive at the main entrance of the hospital and notify the front desk that you are delivering meals. To deliver a donation at College Station Hospital, please use the main entrance. If you are unable to fulfill a donation sign-up, we ask that you cancel your sign up on the form below. As a reminder, it is very important we follow all safety precautions so that we keep ourselves and our neighbors safe. If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, please do not prepare meals and call your healthcare provider for guidance.
