Robert was hospitalized in early December, during his stay found out he needed to have a mastoidectomy and tympanoplasty. Surgery was scheduled for February 2. Surgery was a complete success, but he developed an infection quite fast. The infection led to having wound complications. On 2/12 he had a tube added from his incision in hopes to drain the infection & not have to undergo another surgery. This week he is also getting an IV port set up for at home antibiotics.
