On Saturday, September 14th, 2024, Carol stepped outside of her home and was brutally attacked by a neighbor's dog. The dog pulled her down the front steps, severely wounding her left leg, foot, and ankle. When Mike heard the disruption on the porch and ran to help, he too, was attacked by the same dog. Both were left wounded and needing immediate, and extensive medical care, as well as home repairs, including a ramp into the home, to allow them a safe and accessible entryway when they are able to return.  A meal train will be set up shortly and details for that will be shared on this page.
