Supporting the Smyths

Hansville, WA

Story

Denver and Marianna Smyth, of Western Red Brewery, are in need of some support over the upcoming weeks. Marianna had to undergo shoulder surgery for a second time on July 9th. She was not able to fully heal from her first surgery and re-injured it as the demands of running and operating the taproom with staffing shortages have ensued. On the same day as her surgery, Denver had a full keg fall on his leg and break his shin. He will be undergoing surgery the next day on July 10th. This family of 6 could use your love, prayers & support. One of the unique ways you could support their business right now is by buying a gift card and grabbing some of their apparel and merchandise! The taproom is still open and operating. Let's rally around this amazing husband-wife duo and show them that we are "Poulsbo Strong" and that we have their backs during this challenging time.

Special Notes

For the first initial weeks they will both be healing. Meals would be most beneficial during the immediate time frame through August. They likely will be healing and still in recovery for 10+ weeks. Please text Becky for meal questions/drop off arrangements: 360-509-2556 Please no Pork in the meals. Here are some ways you could support the Smyths during this time: Monetarily through their Go Fund Me account, dinner drop off, a thoughtful gift, goodies, flowers, house cleaning services, words of encouragement...
