Story
My name is Brandi, I am 37 years old and a single mother to a 7 year old (8 on October 26th) amazing girl! I was diagnosed over the summer with Cushing's disease and found out soon after that I have a tumor growing on my pituitary gland. The tumor is pressing on my optic nerve as well as my corotid artery š³! I am scheduled to have surgery Oct 22nd to have it removed. My recovery time just from surgery itself ( not including the extended healing process of the Cushing's wreaking havoc on my body) is roughly 6 weeks. My mother will be coming to care for me and my daughter to the best of her abilities as I will not be able to lift more then a gallon of milk or lean over in anyway for those 6 weeks. I am hoping to lighten some of the burden by getting help with meals and being able to have necessities delivered as needed. My mom does not drive, so going to pick things up during this time will be almost impossible.
Special Notes
My daughter has a gluten and dairy free diet
