Want to help your local foster community? ***This is a work in progress site*** You may have seen in the news recently that there is a spike in kids sleeping in CPS offices waiting to be placed in foster homes (mostly teens) due to not having enough places for them to go. Currently we are working with the Rockwall County CPS office which is one of the major counties taking in the influx of kids. The kiddos are sleeping on blow up mattresses and spending day in and day out at the CPS office while waiting for a loving home. CPS offices are not designed for children sleeping and staying there and as your can image the kids get bored. Our goal is to provide meals, provide laundry services and take donations in order to host fun events at the CPS with the kids such as painting with a twist, nail salon, game nights...etc Here is how you can help! - Deliver a homemade/catered meal that serve 4 people and drop off at the office (1131 E Yellow Jacket Lane, Rockwall Texas 75087) PLEASE DO NOT SELECT THE GRUB HUB OPTION ON THIS SITE, IF YOU WANT TO USE GRUB HUB PLEASE DO IT ON YOUR PERSONAL APP AND CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADRESS TO THE CPS OFFICE. Please add a special note to driver to go in and connect with whoever is at the front desk and tell them it is for the kids living in the CPS office and the staff on call.  -Want to volunteer at the CPS office when we host an event? Please send you contact info to [email protected] to be added to our volunteer list! **more info to come soon on below options** -Picking up and washing/returning a load or two of laundry at your own home or take to a near by laundromat (CPS offices are not designed to have kids staying there, therefor they do not have washing/drying facilities to keep up with kids laundry/bedding) -Donate money to our "Fostering Fun" account to help pay for and host events at the CPS office. Our hopes are to expand to more CPS office locations in time, but for now your donations will be supporting the children/youth located at the Rockwall CPS office.
