I hope this message finds everyone well. I am writing to share some difficult news about my dear sister. She is currently going through an incredibly challenging time in her life, and I kindly ask for your support and understanding during this period.
Tanya experienced an unfortunate incident while closing her pool for the season, resulting in a fractured (broken) ankle in three different places. She has been hospitalized for eight days and was recently transferred to a rehabilitation facility to maintain her strength. Currently, she has an external fixator, which includes a pin through her heel and four pins in her shin bone, to stabilize the injury while awaiting surgery. Unfortunately, her scheduled surgery was postponed due to the discovery of a blood clot in her lung, causing respiratory distress.
Her children are struggling to cope with their mother's absence from home, and I have set up a Meal Train to assist them during this difficult time. Any help you can provide, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
