Helping the Hupperts was started to help Ryan and Shelby as Ryan recovers from his injury.
On Friday, July 30, Ryan was injured in an accident at work which resulted in surgery to amputate his right lower leg.  He came home from the hospital the following Tuesday and is staying with his parents until they can get their home ready for him.  
Ryan and Shelby have a long road ahead of them.  They will be traveling between Kendallville and Fort Wayne several times per week for medical appointments, etc.
