On August 28th 2024, the McFarlen family had their life turned upside down. Shai was at work, the kids in school and Scott was working for a landscaping company trimming palm trees that day. Scott had been climbing trees and towers for a living for years and was no stranger to this, even in 110 degree weather. However this day he needed a bee suit, so it was extremely hot and possibly overheated. Scott has no memory of his fall, so what happened is still a mystery, but he fell some 50 ft and broke his back, hip, femur, tibia, wrist and dislocated his elbow. He is paralyzed from the waist down, we are unsure as to how long this will be, but we believe in the power of prayer and are hopeful that he will regain full mobility!!!
