Strength & Relief for The Stinsons

Milan, MI

Story

Monday, April 19th we had a very traumatic experience with Ellie.  Her airway was occluded and we were struggling to get the plug out.  Ellie turned blue/grey and became unconscious as we tried everything we could to get her breathing again.  We're still trying to wrap our heads around what happend and how we can prevent it from ever happening again.  I've been worried and fearful that this was going to happen.  I'm a planner and I need things organized and consistent to think straight.  I've felt so overwhelmed and crazy and my fears came to fruition.  I cannot continue on this same path.  We almost lost Ellie.  We MUST find a way to get life in order for our family's safety and wellbeing.   To follow our family you can visit www.lifewithellie.com You're probably here because you've heard we're riding the struggle bus.  Some days we're driving it but lately we're just riding it in circles.  Our family has a tangled mess of struggles and needs right now and we're trying to figure out how we can get this bus parked for awhile. We just want to work and provide for our family.  We want to enjoy some time with our kids.  We need a break and a chance to relax at some point.  I don't know how to give the short version of our story but the conclusion is we're stuck and we've realized we're not going to get unstuck without our village.

Special Notes

Right now we could use some help with meals through the end of June. Ideally delivered by 5pm. Roasted vegetables, leftovers, fruit salads, sliced/washed ready-to-eat fruit, and veggie salads are all super great! Nutrition needs: no food dye or artificial colors, no artificial sweeteners or stevia, for GI health reasons we need lots of high fiber foods such as whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and beans. Favorite restaurants: Brewed Awakenings, Mi Zarape, Biwako Sushi, Enchanted Oven, Dalat, Everest Sherpa, Pilar's Tamales, Chela's. No flowers please due to allergies. Please do not knock or ring the doorbell unless you have no other way to reach us.  It makes our dogs go nuts causing unnecessary disruption and chaos.
