Love for Nik

Irwin, PA

Story

Hello Rolling Hills! I am writing to all of you today to ask if anyone would be willing to show some love and support to some life long original Rolling Hills residents at 32 Frick Ave. Some of you may remember my father, Nik Kormanik Sr, who was always walking around the neighborhood. My brother, Nik Jr., had a stroke in March and is currently at home but mostly bedridden. My sister, Kim, is his sole caretaker. She was not able to go back to work at Denny's in Irwin because she has to be with him 24/7. And with the pandemic, outside help is not really feasible. Unfortunately, since I do not live close by (and have my own medical issues with driving long distance) and the pandemic, I cannot get to their house to visit. I was hoping their Rolling Hills neighbors could maybe send some cards, drop off a meal (vegetarian), or do something else to help cheer them up. Any ideas are welcome. I would really appreciate any acts of kindness and support. Thank you.

Special Notes

Corn allergy and Also, nothing very crunchy, hard to chew, since he is having difficulty keeping foods down. Only 1 meal for Nik. Kim does not want a meal.
