Story
The Butler family is a dear part of our community. Emily just had a beautiful baby boy Tuesday evening. He has been in the nicu ever since and they are making many trips back and forth to the hospital to see him. Nicu stays are excruciatingly hard, emotional, and mentally draining. Parents often forget about their own health needs and nutrition when they are focusing on their sick baby. By making this meal train I am hoping we as a community can alleviate some of the stress for them by not having to worry about warm meals. From Emily “If everyone could just say a little prayer for my sweet family, it would be greatly appreciated. We have been through so much the past week, it’s taken such a huge mental and physical toll on all of us. Tonight, our sweet Bo got put on a ventilator and transferred to a different hospital for more advanced care. It has been traumatic, heart wrenching, and over all unbearable. Not only have Matt and I been going back and forth between caring for Bo but also making sure Easton and Amelia are taking care of and also have mom and dad around for them is extremely hard. Just a little shoutout to them for being little troopers going back and forth to multiple peoples houses, not understanding what’s really going on, trying to figure out when mom and dad will be home or not home, and just being patient with Matt and I while we try to navigate this hard time. It has been so hard for them, too. They have yet to meet their baby brother and they are just so excited for when they get too! Thankful for our village we have behind us. Friends, family, neighbors. Everyone. The kind words, the prayers, the friends who have stepped up and helped us take care of our sweet kids will always have a special place in our heart! We are hoping and praying we will get to bring our sweet boy home soon to be with the rest of our family. 💙💙”
